1. Main Event
This paragraph contains a summary of an event that is currently happening.

Example:

The Safari Park has been busy lately in social media after a visitor's car incident was hit by a lion. The incident received many responses from netizens.

2. Background Event
Or Elaboration paragraph contain about explaining the background event. In this paragraph, the writer will answer the who, where, why, when, what, and how questions.

Example:

This incident occurred in mid-February, visitors who were traveling around were surprised when 2 lions suddenly ran and hit their car. As a result, the rear sign lamp of the car was damaged and the car's bumper was dented.

Contains about comments, witnesses of events, opinion of expert regarding the events of incidents being reported.

Example:

“In that time, my family and I were touring in Taman Safari. Suddenly there was a loud sound from behind. It turned out that the car behind me was hit by a lion.” Heri Said.

•Using action verbs

•Using adverbs: time, place, and manner

•Using Past tense in explaining news events. But if it is a fact that until now still happen or still in the form of fact, then can use simple present tense.
