What are the benefits of dressing and
adornment (An adornment is something that is used to

make a person or thing more beautiful?

1.To protect us from heat and harm.
2.To cover the parts of the body which must be
covered in public.

Allah says "O children of Adam, take your adornment at every
masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He
likes not those who commit excess".
Surat Al-A’raf

What was the prophet's favourite colour?

The Messenger of Allah,
peace and blessings be upon
him, said, “Clothe yourselves
in white. Verily, it is cleaner
and purer,

The prophet peace be upon him used
to take care of his appearance and
his favourite colour was white

Islam requires us to be careful about our
appearance.It wants us to dress decently.
It wants us to enjoy what Allah has
created for the purpose of dressing and
adornment.

What are the things men are not allowed to wear ?

Silk garment ( clothes) and Gold

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon
him, said, “Wearing silk and gold is forbidden for the
males of my nation and permissible for its females.”

At Muslim man is not allowed to wear the

dress of a woman and a Muslim woman is not
allowed o wear the dress of a man

​ Men's clothes are different from women's clothes      

Why men are not allowed to

wear gold and silk

because it has a feminine nature that does
not suit men

Etiquette when putting on clothes

When a person puts on any clothing, he.1

should begin from the right side and say
Bismillah

2.Upon wearing a new garment or any new
clothing, the person should say the
following supplication:

All Praise is for Allah who has
clothed me with this garment and
provided it for me, with no power
nor might from myself.: .

The Value of the lesson:
To follow the etiquette of clothing.
This is can be done by:
1- Always Wear clean clothes.
2- Recites the Dua’ when wearing clothes.
