​Adjectives

Remember, adjectives describe a person, place, or thing.

​Also Remember....

All nouns have a gender. They are either masculine or feminine.

une porte/la porte (f)​

​And...

Nouns can also be plural.

How do we do that?

Remember that we generally add an -s to the end of the noun. (Remember that some take an -x, others you don't add an -s, etc.)

Un stylo=des stylos

Le stylo=les stylos​

​Adjectives and Nouns

• First of all, remember that MOST adjectives that are describing a noun go after the noun.

• Second, the adjective must match the noun.

• So, if I wanted to say a purple door, this is what it would look like.
