Elements of Informational Text

1. Headings and sub - headings – the title of the section of the text, it helps the author sort information into similar groups.

2. Key Vocabulary words or bold words – words that are important to understand and  the specific topic of the text.

3. Diagrams- pictures with labels to show the reader the different parts or to help the reader to see the information

4. Glossary – defines key vocabulary words

5. Caption – word underneath a picture that explains what the picture is.

Characteristics of informational texts

1. It is written to inform or persuade rather than entertain.

2. It is factual.

3. It is direct.

Isagot ang titik S kung ang bagay ay makatutulong sa paglikha ng balangkas sa istensil. Isagot naman ang titik D kung hindi ito makatutulong sa paglikha ng balangkas sa istensil.

Science

Pag-aralan ang mga larawan. Kilalanin ang lokasyon ng mga bagay sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng kanyang position words at reference point.
