• Based on the utopian idea of an Isolated State, with a centrally located city center.

• This state has zero outside influences and is self-sufficient.

• The state has zero natural interference on the landscape.

• The state is ideal climate and environment for all agricultural purposes.

• All farmers travel with ox and cart.

• Assumes farmers want maximum profits

• The model develops around a city center based on ease of transport

• Transport influences what and where crops are grown
