​ Subtraction, Is also pretty basic. Yet it is used a lot in the larger grades. For instance, My first digit is 2. My second is also 3. This, you cannot do. Your first digit has to be bigger than the second digit, if not, you will get a negative answer. So for instance, 20. Second, 3. 20-3=17.

​ Division, (which is learned in 3rd to 2nd grade,) is basically dividing. For example, 10 is my first. 3 is my 2nd. This you cannot do. 10 cannot be divided by 3, unless you want complex answers. For instance 16, can be divided by 4. So here is a model to make you understand: / / / / = group 1 / / / / = group 2 / / / / = group 3 / / / / = group 4. So 4 would be your anwer.
