Bila y = f(x) adalah suatu fungsi maka turunan pertam dari y = f(x) yang dinotasikan dengan dy/dx atau y’ atau f’ (x)

APA ITU TURUNAN fUNGSI ALJABAR
Turunan fungsi aljabar disebut dengan diferensial adalah fungsi baru hasil penurunan pangkat dari fungsi sebelumnya menurut aturan yang telah ditetapkan. Jika diimplementasikan di dalam grafik fungsi, turunan ini merupakan gradien garis singgung terhadap grafik di titik tertentu.

Tentukan turunan pertama dari
f(x) = (3x – 2)(5x + 7)
Cara menjawabnya kita lihat rumus 4 yaitu
f(x) = u.v turunannya f’(x) = u’v + uv’

v = 5x + 7 -------- v’ = 5
Rumus f’(x) = u’v + uv’

f’(x) = 3(5x + 7) + (3x – 2)5
