WHAT IS A PERSUASIVE STRATEGY?
⦿ A technique the author uses to persuade you.
⦿ There are six strategies.

LOADED WORDS
⦿ Definition: adding extremely positive or
negative words aimed at the reader’s
emotions.
⦿ Example: Those dirty rotten liars in Congress
will never be on the people’s side!
