What is the CAD Modeling Software?

A CAD model can quickly display an engineer’s ideas in a
realistic way. And once an engineer has developed a model in
CAD representing an idea, the idea can be shared much more
easily with a wider audience.

Ribbon Menu

When you open the application, the ribbon displays
automatically across the top of the main window, providing
access to a palette of commands and controls. The ribbon is
organized into tabs, labeled by task. On each tab, commands are
displayed on a series of panels.

Browser Bar

Browser tells you the overall
story of a model's design
history, or better said, the
features that were used to
create the model and the order
in which they were created

Place to display
the created model.

Application Menu

The application menu provides access to common
file actions, such as New, Open, and Save.

Quick Access Toolbars

The Quick Access Toolbar is the row of
commands on the top of the Inventor
Window.

It includes items such as the application
menu, the new button, open, save, undo
and redo, and other commonly used
tools.

View Cube

The first way to navigate the created
model is view cube.

The View Cube is also a viewport
navigation tool .The ViewCube tool is
located at the top right of the active view
window and provides visual feedback
about the current viewport of the model
as the view changes.

The second way to navigate the
created model in Inventor is
navigation bar.

Function Keys

The third way to navigate the created model is function keys.They are 12
function keys and located on the keyboard.

Project File

Create project file is the most important
part in the Autodesk.To create the project
file you should follow the following steps.

1-Select the project

2-Click the New button along the
bottom of the dialogue box.

3-Enable the New Single User Project
button and then click Next,

Active Project

To recognize the active project in
Inventor,always you should look at
green mark. You can’t delete the active
project.
