Classroom Expectations

Enter the classroom, sit in your assigned
seat, take backpacks OFF and begin your
bell work or wait for instructions QUIETLY.

~ Enter the classroom on time, prepared, and ready to learn.

~ Once in the room, you are expected to take out your laptop and
begin working on bellwork.

~ Bell work is often timed and must be completed by the end of the
timer. You snooze you lose!

~ Bell work is a grade!

Exit the classroom RESPECTFULLY!

~ Before leaving the Classroom/Lab:
~ Be sure to turn in all assignments
~ Clear your tables of trash/mess, and pick up all your
trash off the floor and dispose of it in the trash bin.
~ Return all other materials you used during the session.

Pay Attention

~Pay Attention to the teacher
during My Time!

~The rest of the class will be
devoted to independent, group,
and lab activities.

One Speaker at a Time!

One speaker at a time. Please wait
until permission is given to speak.

Raise a silent hand to participate.
Discussions should be limited to relevant topics.

Be Responsible!

You are responsible for your OWN work & your
OWN grade!

If you are absent, check Schoology for any work
that you missed. You must schedule a time with
me for makeup exams or labs!

Cell Phones

~Stay in your bookbag.
~Not in your pocket.
~Not in your lap.
~Charging can only be done by my
desk!
~Only to be used if I ask
you to do so.
~Should Download Remind

Do NOT groom yourself in class!

-This includes (but is not limited to):

-brushing your hair (no one likes stray hairs floating about!)

-painting your nails (self-explanatory)

-doing someone else’s hair (not beauty school)

-spraying perfume or deodorant (you may like your scent but please
don’t stink up our shared space!)

Restroom Guidelines

Leave quickly
and quietly as
to not disturb

others.

Used 10 minutes after
the late bell, and/or 10

minutes before the
end of the period.

Try not to go during
Ms. Traister’s teaching

time.
