What are the 3 Types of Bleeding?

Arterial- most serious type of bleeding, caused by major injuries, bright red, will shoot out with each heartbeat in a rhythmic pattern

Venous- Occurs when a vein is torn or cut, dark red, oozes out of the body moving steadily and slowly, serious arterial bleeding

Capillary- most common type of bleeding, happens when the skin is injured ccurs with all wounds, blood oozes or trickles out of the body flows quickly

What are the Steps to treating Shock

1.Lay the person flat elevate the feet 8-12 inches

2. Keep the person still and dont move him or her unless necessary

3.Begin CPR if the person shows no signs of life

4. Loosen tight clothing

5.Cover the person with a blanket to prevent chiling

6. Never give the person water if thirsty dampen a cloth and press on their lips
