Should in That Clauses with Say/Tell​

With the verbs say and tell, should is often used in a that clause to tell someone to do something. Remember that say and tell can also occur with an infinitive to express the same meaning. However, say and tell do not occur in the base form pattern of the verbs like advise, ask, demand, insist, propose, recommend, or suggest.​
