Teacher to Student

How the teacher will treat you and your peers.

1. Use supplies with care and only for their intended purpose.

2. Keep the floors, chairs, desks and tables clean.

3. Put things away neatly when done.

4. Only handle lab equipment and models with permission.

5. Treat the room as a science lab and not a playground/gym.​

How we will make things right when the agreements above don't happen.

​Being productive and making the most of our class time together.

​There is a limited amount of time to accomplish learning tasks for this class.  Being in the classroom allows students to be engaged, hear all instruction, and able to complete tasks in class.

• I understand that I will need to limit the number of times I leave class because it means I will miss instructional time and time to complete assignments.  

• I will receive 10 passes each grading period and know that if/when I run out I will not be allowed to leave class and will need to take care of my personal needs at another time.

• If I lose my card with passes, I will receive a replacement but will have at least half of my passes taken away, more if it is closer to the end of the grading period or it is clear that I had fewer available passes. 

• If I lose my card twice in a grading period I will receive a replacement card with no passes.

• I know that I cannot use anyone else's card to get more passes or in the case that I don't have my own.

1. I will use only apps and website the district approves and that my teacher instructs me to use. 

2. I will take care of my technology and treat it carefully and respectfully.

3. I will only use my device at appropriately designated time

4. When the teacher is talking or giving directions I will 45/180 my computer. I will not record (video/photo) others without their consent.

5. I will not search material that is inappropriate for school.

6. I will use my computer for the lessons assigned by the teacher.

7. I will only have the windows open that I need for the assignments in this class

8. I am aware that if I am caught using my computer inappropriately during an assessment that I could receive a failing grade for that assessment that I am not able to makeup. 

9. I understand using a device during class is a privilege, that all my keystrokes and internet activity is traceable by the school, and I can lose the ability to use technology if I don't follow expectations.
