The Mass

There are 2 basic types of Mass:

The Latin Rite {which is Vaticanium I} and Novus Ordo {which is Vaticanium II}. They are also known as the Extraordinary and the Ordinary Form.

The Latin Mass is also known as the Trinidine Rite. Usually, the celebrant is facing the altar, and the celebrant also says the entire mass in Latin.

Novus Ordo in Latin means "New Order". Usually, the priest faces the people and also says the mass in English or Spanish.

The Novus Ordo

Communion is one of the Seven Sacraments. It is the most important part of the Mass. It is when you receive the Body and Blood of Christ.
