​S.M.A.R.T.- What It Means

Example:

Specific- Knowing exactly what you want to accomplish; thinking of all the details I want to stay on track with all of my lessons and assignments each month.

Measurable- Understanding how you will know when you meet your goal I want to lose 5 pounds.

​

Attainable- Challenging yourself, but also knowing that your goal is something that can be reached I want to save enough money to get my guitar fixed.

​

Realistic- Making sure your goal is relevant to your life, so that you will work hard to achieve it I want to learn how to crochet so I can make gifts for my friends and family.

Timely- Knowing when you want to meet your goal By the end of the day today, I will have my desk organized.
