In English we would say... "I'm walking to the gym." In French, it's going to be "I'm going to the gym by foot."

SAY WHERE YOU ARE GOING (aller)... and then by ​which mode of transportation...

"Je vais au gymnase à​ pied."

1. I'm driving to the park. ​→ "I'm going to the park by car."

   Je vais au parc en voiture. (ALLER + type of transportation)​

2. Anne is biking to the library. → "Anne is going to the library on bike. "

   Anne va à la bibliothèque à vélo.
