Components​

To get the reader's attention so they are interested to read your essay. This should be 1-2 sentence as opening before general statement.

Hook

The gene​ral elaboration of your topic. It contains your opinion, exampleof case which related to your argument (thesis statement).

General Statement

This is the main idea of your WHOLE essay. This is the specifci topic which you will explain more in the body paragraph later on.

Thesis Statement

In writing an essay, we shall start by finding a specific topic.

We will make the Introduction paragraph backwards, from the Thesis Statement first, then General Statement ​
