​The Egyptians traded with cultures of lower Nubia and the Kingdom of Kush (modern day Sudan) – copper, pottery, and furniture. Nubia was also the source for much of Egyptian gold – gold was mined by chained slaves who laboured day and night.

The Greeks, led by Alexander the Great, entered Egypt in 33BCE. The time that the Greeks ruled Egypt is called the PTOLEMAIC Dynasty.

The last member of the Ptolemy dynasty was Queen Cleopatra. Famous for her affair with Julius Caesar. The Roman Armies defeated her armies, leading to downfall of Egypt and Roman Domination.
