Indirect objects:

​What is the role of an indirect object pronoun?

In both Spanish and English, the role of the indirect object pronoun is the same: Indirect object pronouns answer the question ‘to/for whom or to/for what’. That is, they tell us to whom or what an action is intended in relation to the verb.
