What's a pronoun?

PRONOUNS ARE WORDS THAT REPLACE NOUNS​

​A Pronoun is a word that is used in place of a noun or another pronoun.

Like a noun, a pronoun can refer to a person, place, thing, or idea.

THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PRONOUNS

​PERSONAL PRONOUNS

•The books were history books. 2.

•My sister is studying at the library because my sister has an exam tomorrow.

• Jack lives in a city but Jack likes to go camping every summer.

•I put the cookies on the table but now the cookies aren’t there.

•The cat looked at me and then then the cat started to meow.

•We saw the movie but the movie wasn’t very good.

•Some kids don't know what to think about Carlos .

•They can't understand someone who is different from the teachers.

Object Pronouns

​An indefinite pronoun does not refer to any specific person, thing or amount. It is vague and "not definite". Some typical indefinite pronouns are: all, another, any, anybody/anyone, anything, each, everybody/everyone, everything, few, many, nobody, none, one, several, some, somebody/someone.
