...the development in scientific knowledge (like automobiles and movies) and the effect this new technology had on society - especially with youth (now, they were able to travel very far in a short amount of time, or view movies that transported them to see things they'd never seen before) which also resulted in a change in attitude (like women cutting their hair short or starting to show their ankles with their fashion choices).
