Contoh:

I did my homework last night = Saya mengerjakan PR semalam

How to form the sentence?

(+) ​Subject + V2

(-) Subject + did + not​ + V1

(?) Did + subject + V1​?

Contoh:

(+) They sang beautiful song last year

(-) We did not understand about the lesson​

(?) Did she bring us cake? No, she did not​

Sentence without verb

(+) ​Subject + was/were + adj/adverb

(-) Subject + was/were + not​ + adj/adverb

(?) Was/were + subject + adj/adverb?

Contoh:

(+) He was angry with his partner two days ago

(-) They were not sleepy last night​

(?) Was she bored of the lesson? Yes, she was​

Conclusion

• Hanya ubah verb 1 menjadi verb 2 pada kalimat positif

• Setelah ada did, diikuti kembali dengan verb 1

• Untuk verb be, ubah am dan is menjadi was, dan ubah are menjadi were
