The greatest common factor (GCF) of the terms in a polynomial is the greatest monomial that divides into each term without a remainder!​

Not all polynomials can be factored.

• NEGATIVE in the BACK that's so WHACK (+) (-) where the symbol in front goes to the largest factor.

• When the leading coefficient isn't prime you will have more possibilities for trial and error.​

• The larger number tends to get the first sign..
