​Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count.​

* Students will learn how to make matches, identify sets, and sort and classify according to similarities. ​Students will sort by color, then by type.

​Hmm... What Do We Need To Master This Standard?

Students should be able to recognize numbers by naming them (EX: seeing the numbers one and two and being able to say "One, Two". Students should also be able to count and tell how many objects are in a given category. Lastly, they should also be familiar with comparing numbers.
