Asking for advice

One way to ask and give advice is with the present tense of the verb "devoir"

Tu as besoin de.... - You need​ to...

• ​Tu as besoin d'emprunter un crayon.

• Tu as besoin​ de retirer de l'argent.

• Tu as besoin de parler avec ton prof.​

Giving advice:

Qu'est-ce que j'ai besoin de faire ? = What do I need to do?

Another way to ask for/give advice is to use "avoir besoin de"​
