1. communicative purpose : To Show how something is used, mode or done through sequence of steps

2. Text Organization

a. Goal

b. Materials/ingredients

c. Steps

Language features:

Using simple present tense
Usingimperatives sentences
Using connectors (e.g. firstly, secondly, next, then, finally,etc)
Using adverbs (e.g. in ten minutes, slowly, well)
