you find the LCD and then what you multiply

at the top, you do it to the bottom. Then Add​

If you have mixed numbers, Change them into improper fractions​, then add

You have to keep the 1st fraction, change the ÷ to a ×​, Then flip the other fraction. Then multiply.

​Dividing

You multiply the ​Numerators together. Then multiply the denominators. Reduce and Simplify if you can. (Change to fractions if you are dealing with mixed fractions.

​Adding Decimals

To add decimals. Line them up. Get rid of the Decimals by jumping them out of the equation. Add. Then jump them back into the answer. ​

If you need to, add zeros as placeholders. ​

• multiply

• Jump the decimals back in ​

Organize decimals the way you see them​

1. No decimals in the divisor

2. jump decimals in the dividend how many times you did to the divisor.

3. Move up to the quotient and ÷​

​To Divide

1. You have to divide with no decimals

2. move them up into the quotient then divide​

bring and drop zeros if you need to and remember to put the decimal correctly​

​2.7 Comparing and Ordering Decimals

To compare decimals: you are finding which number or decimal is bigger or smaller. We use < > = to compare.

To order decimals: order them for least to greatest or from greatest to least​
