Color is the light reflected off of objects.

Color

The name of the color.

Ex. red, green, blue, etc.​

Hue

How dark or light the color is.

Value

How bright or dull a color is.

Intensity

Red, Blue and Yellow are primary colors.

All other ​colors are mixtures of those three.

Primary Colors

Red, Blue and Green are the primary colors of light.

Those three colors combine to make white, which is pure light.

Secondary colors are made by combining two primary colors.

Ex. Violet = Blue + Red​

Also called tertiary colors, intermediate colors come from mixing a primary and secondary color.

Ex. reddish orange​
