Earth is our home planet, the third from the sun. Life on earth is possible because of its particular climate and the presence of water.

The sun

The hydrosphere is the part of a planet that's made of water. Oceans, rivers, lakes, and clouds are all typically included in the hydrosphere.

Hydosphere

The envelope of gases surrounding our planet.

Includes Oxygen, greenhouse gases, etc. ​

Atmosphere

The geosphere includes all the rocks that make up Earth.

Includes melted stone, sand, soil, etc.​

A biosphere is a place where organisms live. You wouldn't want to travel beyond the earth's biosphere, unless of course you are an astronaut.

a heavy odorless colorless gas formed during respiration and by the decomposition of organic substances; absorbed from the air by plants in photosynthesis

CO2 (Carbon Dioxide)

a gas that contributes to the greenhouse effect by absorbing infrared radiation

Solar Radiation

The climate is the general weather in a particular region. Florida is known for its temperate climate.

Weather is the atmospheric conditions, including the temperature, wind, snow, rain, or anything else happening outside.

The greenhouse effect is the process that's making the Earth gradually warmer due to the release of gasses such as carbon dioxide.
