• ​A veces- sometimes

When the plural definite article (the) "los/las" is in front of a day of the week that means it is something normally do on that day. For example:

Los jueves voy a la piscina a mi lección de natación (swimming).

• ​This means "On Thursdays I go to my swimming lessons at the pool."

Ir

• Ir is the infinitive for "to go"

• However, it is an irregular verb meaning it does not follow the same principles as regular verbs.​

​When you are talking about going TO THE somewhere, in spanish you say "a + definite article + noun (place)"

• ​For feminine nouns you say "a la"

  • ​Voy a la biblioteca.

• ​For masculine nouns you combine "a+el" and make "al"

  • ​Van al cine.
