Phonics - Blends

​Initial blends are at the beginning of words:

• ​Slip

• ​Twin

• ​Clap

​Final blends are at the end of words:

• ​risk

• ​help

• ​hunt

• ​Finger stretch the word

• ​Count the sounds

• Place a dot in each box you will need.

• ​One dot for each sound in the word

• ​Write the letter for each sound

• ​Change one letter

• ​Add a letter

• Take away a letter

Skin Spots​

​ Have you looked at skin? Skin can be black, brown, yellow and red. Skin can have spots and scabs. The scabs help the skin. If you snag skin, you can get a scab. If you stub skin, you can make a spot and scab. When the skin is hit, it could make the skin black and blue.
