​We use Simple Present when we want to talk about fixed habits or routines - things that don't change.

​What is Simple Present Tense?

Simple Present are divided into 2 forms:​

Singular form

​For Singular Subjects [he, she, it, a cat, my mother] in a sentence; we add -s, -es, -ies to the root verb.

​For plural subjects [they, we, I, you, the cats, my parents] in a sentence;

​the verb stay in the same as base/root form.

​Positive Statement to Negative Statement

​When we change the positive statement to negative statement, we used:

​Negative Verb to do [don't/doesn't] + Root verb

​Question Form

For example: Singular form

Positive Statement: Ginna takes the bus every day.
