Punctuation - Basics

Punctuations are used in writing to separate​ sentences and their elements to clarify its meaning and making it easier to read.

​Examples :-

​Full stop , comma , brackets , ect

• ​Colon :

• ​Semicolon ;

• ​Question mark ?

• ​Exclamation mark !

• ​Apostrophe `

• ​Hyphen -

it is used to suggest that there is nothing more to say on a topic.

​The comma, is a punctuation mark that appears in several variants in different languages. It is used to separate independent clauses. It is used between all items in a series.

​Ex --

​There are Bananas, Apples, oranges and some grapes in the fruit basket

​a punctuation mark ( ? ) indicates a question.

​it is used to express doubt or uncertainty about something.
