​1st strategy: groups

​ How the group strategy works is you first need your problem. we will use 4x5 for this example. you put 4 circles since the first number was 4. Then you put 5 dots in every circle. you then count up the dots in the circles.

​sinince there is a 4 you put 4 fives then add it up.

​same for 7x2 you do 7+7 or 2+2+2+2+2+2+2
