We put them after the verb!!!

​Adverbs of manner describe how things happen.

​We form them by adding "ly" at the end of the adjectives with some changes in spelling.

​If the adjective ends in "ly" we use the phrase: in a .....way

​e.g.: friendly - in a friendly way

​silly - in a silly way

​Some adverbs have the same form as the adjective:

​- late

​- fast
