1. Being kind to yourself on purpose, when it's hard and easy.

2.Taking care of your mental and physical health even though it's hard 3. Being gentle with yourself when you don't meet your expectations or when you let yourself down 4. Asking for help and allowing people to help you 5. Respecting your journey instead of hating it or expecting that it should be different

Self-love is not something you acquire. It's been there and it never left. Waiting for you to shed the layers of identification with the thoughts of your mind and return back home. The greatest love story of all.

​It's a constant choice. It's not a magical feelings that appears to you one day. It's a commitment to your boundaries, your well-being, your mental and emotional health, and your body

Positive body image is important to establish, especially early on in life, so the psychological stressors of negative body image cannot take their toll.​

How to change your view on yourself :

Change your focus. People who exercise regularly feel better about their bodies - whether they lose weight or not

Show your body some gratitude

Don't get caught up in competitive self-criticism

Give yourself a break

Think positively

Meditate

Pamper yourself

Rejig your wardrobe(differently/ change into something you like)
