​Pam has a cat.

It is on the bed.

It can nap. It can sit.

“Oh no!” says Pam.

“The cat fell off the bed!”

Is the cat sad?

No. It is on the mat.

​The New Bicycle​

                Emma has a new bicycle. It is bright pink and shiny.

It was a gift from her uncle. He hid it behind a bush to surprise her.

                When Emma looked behind the bush and saw the bicycle, she jumped for joy. It was just what she wanted. She gave her uncle a big hug.

                She loves her new bicycle, and she loves her uncle.

​My Baby Brother

​

                I love my baby brother. His name is Sam. He sleeps a lot. Sometimes he smiles when he is asleep. When my brother cries, I try to cheer him up. I like to read stories to my brother. He laughs when I do silly voices. My older brother likes to play peekaboo with Sam. He thinks it is very funny. Mom and Dad are taking us to the park tomorrow for a picnic.
