​So how do you make THAT THING (it's called a colon) on the keyboard?

​Read the poem. Listen to the poem. Think of at least ONE thing you notice about the poem.

​Can't think of anything?

Here are some things you could notice. Choose 1 to write about.

• ​Look at the end of each line and figure out the rhyme pattern.

• ​Does this poem paint a good mental picture (imagery)?

• ​How many lines are in the poem?

• ​Are there any vocabulary words you don't know?

• ​Are there any vivid vocabulary words?

• ​Any strange punctuation?
