I will be learning that positive and negative signs represent opposite values and/or directions.

Comparing Integers
When comparing integers, we look at the value of the number. When we are dealing with positives, the bigger the number, the larger it is.
When we are dealing with negatives, the more negative a number, the smaller it is. Numbers get smaller the further away from zero you go into the negatives.
