Contoh cara pengiraan
Perimeter = jumlah panjang semua sisi di sekeliling.
Perimeter
= RS + ST + TU + UV + VW + WP +PQ + QR
= 4 + 3 + 4 + 9 + 12 + 9 + 4 + 3
= 48 cm
Nota :
Ukuran PQ = RS = TU (perhatikan tanda garisan kecil pada rajah)
Ukuran UV = WP (perhatikan 2 garis kecil pada rajah)

Jika berdasarkan rajah di sebelah, garis EG, GD dan GB adalah garisan DI DALAM bentuk ini. Maka tidak perlu dimasukkan dalam pengiraan Perimeter.
