​WHAT IS VERB?

​Verb is a word that describe an action. Verb tell us what is happening.

​VERB "TO BE"

​There are only 3 verb to be:

• ​am

• ​ is

• ​ are

​

- ​"am" is only used with the pronoun I.

​- "is" is use with singular noun like Amira and pronoun he, she and it.

​- "are" is use with plural noun like my parents, and pronouns we, you and they.

​VERB "TO BE" PAST TENSE FORM

​There are "present" and "past" tense of verb "to be".

​VERB "TO DO"

​Verb "to do" is a verb that starts with the word "do".

​

​There are various form of this verb. It can change to do, does and did.

​

For present (sekarang) tense form, this verb may be used as following.

​

​Does

• Singular noun: Ali, He, She, It - E.g. Ali does like his house.

• ​Uncountable nouns: Rice, sugar, furniture. - E.g. Furniture does not have a sweet smell.

​Other than does, verb "to do" also have its "do" form. 

​

​Do is used with 

• ​Plural nouns : we, they, Ali and Abu. - Ali and Abu usually do the dishes.

• ​Pronoun I: I do not like noodles.

• ​Pronoun you: Do you want ice cream?

​Past tense form of verb "to do"

​Past tense form of "to do" is did.

​

​We used it with:

• ​Singular nouns

• ​Plural nouns

• ​Uncountable nouns

• ​Pronoun I

• ​Pronoun you
