• ​6 Intermediate/Tertiary colors

​Primary Colors

• ​The Primary colors are; Red, Yellow, Blue

• ​These colors make all other colors.

• ​The primary colors cannot be made by mixing other colors.

​Secondary Colors

• ​The Secondary Colors are; Green, Violet, Orange.

• ​These colors are made by mixing 2 Primary colors.

• ​These colors live in between the 2 colors that make them on the color wheel.

​Complementary Colors

• ​are colors that are across or opposite each other on the color wheel.

• ​there are 3 pairs of Complementary colors.

• ​these colors make each other stand out.

• ​each pair is made up of 1 primary color and 1 secondary color.

​Tertiary/Intermediate Colors

• ​These colors are made by mixing a primary and a secondary color.

• ​These colors live in between the 2 colors that make them on the color wheel.

• ​3-4 colors that are neighbors on the color wheel.

• ​These colors go well together.

​Monochromatic

• ​Tints, shades and tones of 1 color.

• ​Like a value scale but with color.
