What is the Fibonacci Sequence?
The fibonacci sequence is a pattern for numbers. You take the previous number and the current number, and you add them, to get the next number.

Here is the fibonacci sequence starting at 1.
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,377,
610,987,1597................

How did you get 1,1,2,3,5,8...?
If you start with one, you must add another one, so you have 1,1. Once you have at least 2 numbers listed, you can start the pattern and go on forever. You use your 2 numbers and add them, so the next number will be the sum. (Ex: 1,1,2) After you get that you can continue forever, you just have to add the previous number with the current number, so if the number before the number you are on is 8, and the number you are on is 13, you would add them to get the next number. (Ex: 8,13,21)
