CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.MD.A.2
Directly compare two objects with a measurable attribute in common, to see which object has "more of"/"less of" the attribute, and describe the difference. For example, directly compare the heights of two children and describe one child as taller/shorter.
What does it Mean?
Students should be able to compare objects and determine how much force is needed to move. For example, by looking and feeling objects students can compare those that need "more" or "less" force by feeling their weight and observing their physical size. Lastly, they can describe why they think the object needs "more or less" force to move. (For example: Because it is heavy it needs more force, or it is light so it needs less force)
