How to do Long Division
Today I will teach you how to do Long Division . I will teach you how to do 60 divided by 5 .
Step 1. Multiply ( 5 what's are 6 ? ) . We cannot do this . But 6 is bigger than 5 , so 5 x 1 = 5 so put 1 up as the first digit of the quotient ( Answer ) & put 5 down and then do 6 - 5 ( 1 ) and put the second digit down ( Which is 0 ) .
Step 2. What is 5 x 2 ? Yes , 10 so put two as the 2nd digit of the quotient
Step 3. Now minus ( - ) 10 from 10 so the remainder is 10 .
Step 4. Your sum is done !!!
