​PROCESS-ORIENTED ASSESSMENT

​Learning outcomes in the form of PROCEDURAL KNOWLEDGE require demonstration of the process or procedure. They call for process-oriented assessment.

​PRODUCT-ORIENTED ASSESSMENT

​Students' performance may lead to a CONCRETE PRODUCT.

The assessor views and scores the final product made and not on the actual performance of making that product.

​As the event planner for your school, you have been responsible for creating a budget for the upcoming annual school festival. The school administration has provided limited funds, and you must carefully allocate the budget to cover various expenses such as decorations, refreshments, and entertainment. You will present your budget proposal to the school administration, ensuring that all calculations are accurate and that the budget is both realistic and effective in delivering a successful event.

You are a student representative at your school, and many students have expressed interest in a new extracurricular activity that is not currently offered. Your task is to write a persuasive letter to the school board, convincing them of the value and necessity of this activity for students' overall development. Your letter should present strong arguments, supported by evidence, and should be written in a formal style appropriate for addressing school board members. The effectiveness of your letter will be judged by its clarity, persuasiveness, and adherence to formal writing conventions.
