Why is Peer Editing Important?
You will be often participating in peer editing in Middle & High School.
Partners are able to find minor mistakes that we are sometimes unable to see.
Some times our papers do not flow, and our partners can see it in a different way for others to understand.
When writing for colleges applications, they look for minor mistakes.
3
What we will be doing today
You will be turning your paper to me.
I will be going to redistribute your paper to one of your peers.
Your peers will read, then correct how they see fit.
After 20minutes, I will be recollecting the papers, then redistributing them back to you.
We will take a break and watch part of a movie where plate boundaries create large mass destruction.
You will read your paper again and see if you would like to fix your mistakes or sentences based on your peer's edits.
We will play a quizizz to help you on your test Friday.
