Steps:​

​Solution:

​a = 1; b = -1; c = -6

​

​Factors of -6 are:

​3x-2 = -6

​-3x2 = -6

​1x-6 = -6

​6x-1 = -6

​3 + -2 = 1

​-3 + 2 = -1

​1 + -6 = -5

​6 + -1 = 5

​-3 and 2

​( -3) ( 2)

​(x -3) (x +2)

​x -3 = 0

​ +3 = +3

​x = 3

​x +2 = 0

​ -2 = -2

​x = -2
