We have all been customers and entered a 7-Eleven store. We understand that there are practices that must be followed if we are to gain entry into the store. Let's look at the terms we use to describe these practices.

Before  Entering  the  Store

Here are some phrases we can say to customers as they enter the store.

Wear a mask​

“You must wear a mask inside the store.”

Take your temperature

“Excuse me, please check your temperature.”

Check in

“Please check in as you enter the store.”

Wash your hands

“Please wash your hands as you enter the store.”

Inside  the  Store

No groups

“Please don’t stand in groups inside the store.”

Social Distancing

“Please keep at least 1 metre away from others.”

Here are some phrases we can say to customers as they enter the store.

What we do as staff members is just as important as what we ask the customers to do. Let's look at the terms we use to talk about guidelines for staff.

Guidelines for Staff

Clean surfaces regularly with disinfectant.

Wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds each time.
