Science courses require attentiveness and participation. It is a student-oriented class.

• ​Check Canvas AND Pinnacle grades.

  • ​Canvas graded assignments are usually completed BEFORE it is entered in pinnacle.

• ​Check your e-mail (I use parent link at times)

1. ​Respect yourself and others.

2. ​Use elevated vocabulary instead of profanity.

3. ​​No food or drinks (except water) is permitted in the lab.

4. Turn off/silence your phones during direct instruction.

5. No charging​ of any device is permitted in the classroom.

​Late Work = - 2-3% each day

​Skipping class = Late work may not be accepted.

​Excuse absences immediately to avoid confusion.

​If absence is excused:

• ​Assignments are due within 2 classes

• ​Time=Time absent (5 days out=5 days to make up assignment)

• ​Quizzes & Tests must be made up within a week of returning to class.

​Biology is an EOC course, so there is a high expectation for students to stay attentive and work hard! EOC is worth 30% of the 2nd Semester grade.
